Randall Rh100 g2 series problem

it was in perfect working condition and i lent it to my friend to play a show and he said it cut out on him. Heres the problem, the amp powers on and i have to turn the volume and gain levels all the way up just to get sound. And its not very loud. on a scale on 1-10(10 being loudest i would say its around a 1, 1.5 any suggestions would greatly be appreciated bc i love this amp soo much
