Crate vtx200sh head making crackling/error code

Purchased this amp very cheap knowing about the crackling expecting it to be some dirty pots, definitely not,crackling across all channels and after about 5 minutes it goes into an error state where the tap button flashes three times in quick succession,can't find any info about this anywhere. Planning on disconnecting that circuit board and jumping the effects send but not sure what else to do besides check for broken solder any ideas or anyone have experience with this amp?
