In my experience there are two quite different problems when writing software; the first is to get it to do what you want (which you seem to have well under control), the second is dealing with "the nut that holds the wheel", the user interface.  What strikes you as totally obvious can be equally obscure to someone who has never seen it before.

{I wrote an order processing system and got a fellow tech to give it a cold go when I thought it was "complete".  He managed to crash it in less than a minute simply by pressing the <esc> key.  Back to the drawing board!  :grr  :cheesy: }
If you say theory and practice don't agree you haven't applied enough theory.
