Hello Guys,

I'm from Brazil and I'd like to say thank you to this awesome forum. Sorry if I make many english mistakes.

I play guitar and I hate to have a lot of extra weight to carry. I'd like to build an solid state power amp that works great with Tube Pre Amps and Solid State Pre Amps.

I found a project based on this schematics, http://www.tonieletronica.xpg.com.br/imagens/tda7294V.gif ,

Do you guys think that this is a good way to start?

I'm looking for a Power Supply that can fit in 1U rack space from Hammond Or Toroid. Have I another option?

Oi rapaz. Start by building one, with a conventional power supply and transformer, no case, just to check the PCB, the project, and your building skills.
Test it with your favorite preamp and speakers, and if you like it (you will), then start spending time and money into 1U racks, toroids, and other features which will be much more expensive than the amplifier itself.
For Brazilian use you will need dual 110/220 V primary transformers.
Good luck and please tell us what happened, plus MP3s and pictures if possible.
PS: maybe you will find it easier to use some LM3886 kit, browse the posts here, many already did with very good results.
