Sounds like someone already uploaded a file with the same name as you want to use.  Try renaming your file first., or resave your file under a new name and upload that.

That's exactly it, just need to rename your file before uploading.   :dbtu:

Quilter has announced their new OverDrive 202, actually it was back in June but I somehow missed this one.  Anyway, it's a 200watt, 2 channel, pedalboard-sized monster.  I'd love to have one, that's for sure!  MSRP at $575 means I won't be seeing it any time soon though.

Sounds like shot power supply capacitors to me and/or rectifying diodes.  Regardless, before trying to turn it back on, open it up and look for any burn marks etc.  If all looks good, then build a quick light bulb limiter, plug it into that and start taking voltage measurements with a digital multimeter (we can help here).

* At some point I started having an issue with the Amp where the output sound would fade out.*
Have you checked your FX loop? a common cause of intermittent signal drop out.

Phil is on it.  Try running a patch cable between the FX send and return jacks.  If this fixes it, your jacks just need to be cleaned (or replaced if it really bad shape).

Any update on the progress. I see in the news that the pcbs have arrived   :dbtu:

Things got tied up with me being crazy busy at home and work.  It's still progressing, just slowly.  I'm about to get another small run done for a second prototype with a few changes in the tone stack and some new artwork on the board.   :dbtu:

Refresh the connections to the DFX card.

A few years back I fixed a Fender DSP amp by just a simple unplug/replug of the DFX PCB.   :dbtu:

Hamstead Soundworks has released a new single knob, clean boost pedal.  The Ascent Amplitude doesn't seem to be technically anything terribly new or interesting.  But socially, it sure is.  They are employing tech members that normally work with Iggy Pop, AC/DC, and The National, to put these together - helping people that were unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  On top of this, part of the remaining profits also go to a charity to help struggling musicians.  I think this is a great idea.  If their booster plays half as well as their social concept, it's money very well spent.

In person concerts are starting to come back...sort of:

Electro-Harmonix (EHX) has released the new Cntl Knob (pronounced "control knob").  This pedal can be used on all devices that have a TRS "EXP" or "expression" pedal input.  It simply has two knobs and a footswitch between them.  Set EXP1 to your first sound setting, and EXP2 to your second.  Then toggle through them at will.  It's a simple device, but for $39, I could see this being very useful for a lot of people!  Plus it looks pretty darn slick!

BTW I reversed the polarity on the GDI21 and I got smoke but it still works. The only effect is that the LED now stays on whereas it should only be on when an input is plugged in.

Not sure I would trust using it revered polarity for any length of time.  Honestly I'm surprised it still works!

Crew Nation, set up by Live Nation, is helping musicians and those who tour with them (road crew etc) who need financial support due to not being able to tour etc to support themselves.  Fender has decided to help out with this and is now supporting Crew Nation with the sale of some Masterbuilt guitars.  These guitars were built at home by some of Fender's best luthiers and they look great!

According to, the Shure SM57 and SM58 earned the 1st and 2nd place spots respectively for best cheap mics in 2020.  This isn't terribly surprising since they have been at the top of their game since they came out over 50 years ago.  Check out the others in their top 8.

Great share, this is very exciting and would be VERY useful for home use/fabrication of prototypes!  I could print out a board that I just designed and have it put together in the same day!   :dbtu:
