I got this thing for free so i looked it up and it got some good reviews most people only complained about the tubes in it (others just the brand) but over all i figured it wouldnt be a terrible thing to have around. will let you know how it sounds when hooked up. Many thanks

so if i were to do something like this how complicated would it be in my berhinger tube composer where the tubes are just used as coloration in the circuit?

Tubes and Hybrids / starved plate design

heres a question and it might have been answered somewhere before but here it is. if you have gear that runs on a starved plate design is there a way to up the plate voltage and truly have a tube in the signal path? what would be the problems with this modification? any thoughts are greatly appreciated

headphones are using a 1/8" to 1/4" stereo adapter and it feeds back into the main speaker and not the headphones. no controls have any affect on the feedback.

i reciently bought a behringer vampire 112 modeling am and every thing worked great untill i tried to plug in headphones... so guitar it plugged in and volume is off i plug in my sennheiser headphone and the thing starts feeding back, everything goes back to normal when i unplug headphones. could it be leads are touching? or some sort of ground loop?

sorry should have specified. its a crate mx10 and its just sorta lifeless i understand its the nature of cheap practice amps but it will have to do till i build my dream amp <3). so is there some sort of od/dist that might help remedy my problem some?

so the ac power supply i found is dead... now the unit wants 12v ac so i assume it converts it to dc internally but can you use a dc input or would this not work due to the circuitry already in place?

no it is ac, its retarded i know..... anyways yeah i found a wall wart at the goodwill and was overjoyed to make use of my $200 paperweight. i just wanted to double check and make sure i didnt fry the thing and have it remain and oversized paperweight lol

I lost my psi and have been trying to find a replacement now the pedal requires 9vac 1.3 amps my question is how picky is a pedal like this? I have a psu that gives1.5 amps will it harm the pedal at all? Thanks
