Wd1 is at +15 on one side and -15 on the other the voltage to ic1 checks ot ok i just dont think i can feplace the ic being that its so small. The 260vdc was from the 6sn7 preamp i was building i had the input to the amp on two loose leads and it contactec the bottom of the tube socket. im not trying to turnmit into a tube amp but given the choice of a real tube 1st stage or a single tranny boost stage im just wonderjng what others would do. Im pretty sure replacing the ic is not an option as i dont think i could solder those tiny leads.

Amplifier Discussion / Burnt 1st ic in vox ad30vt
July 11, 2016, 06:47:42 PM
So i managed to put 260vdc throough the input of my vox. Neddless to say it cooked the first ic. Looki g at the schematic i tried injecting signal at pin 2 pin 7 and pis 2-7 in parallel. With mixed results it worked but was noisy and on the higher gain models it would oscilate and squeal. Then i tried at r88 and it workec great. Now my dilema is put this 15 cent single transistor boost stage in and be done or put a 6sn7 running at 260vdc in there. The tranny boost has adjustable gain so once its in there i can dial it in just like it was. The 6sn7 sounds great its really clean and its another tube in the signal path.

Thank you very much Enzo. But that is the one and only one I have been able to find as well. The values are unreadable at least on my pc they are. I have tried making it smaller and larger to no avail. I  read on another forum that QSC will sell you a copy if you e-mail them. The amp was a freebie so i cannot complain. I have been running it bridged mono. But do not really know if its using both channels or not. It works as it should in bridge mono i have my speakers hooked to both red terminals on the amp. Input into channel 1 and all my dip switches set 1,2,7,8 up 3,4,5,6 down. Does that mean it has to be working and im losing channel two between the input and the amp and channel two is working its just not getting to the amp?

Hello forum I'm new to the forum. But not to electronics in general. I've built some tube preamps a few transistor boosters, messed with op amps a bit. I have built a few tone stacks as well the james and the muff pi. Now to the matter at hand I have a QSC 1400 with one channel that does not work. I have looked everywhere for a schematic for it. All I can find is one that is unreadable I can make out the signal path on it but cannot see any values for the components. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you in advance.
