Solid State Guitar Amp Forum | DIY Guitar Amplifiers

Hi new to the forum, I recently came into possession of a fabulous British amp, built by Maine Electronics circa mid 1970s. It is a 50watt club series, with two 8" celestion speakers. It is extremely heavy built like a tank, sounds very good at low and high level. Gain sounds remarkably 'tube like, with good sounding cleans. The Reverb is also very good too. As far as I know Maine made the Club 2x8, Stage 2x10 and 2x12 Musician.

I'd very much like to hear from anyone who has any more info?
