Title: Acoustic AG30 schematic wanted
Post by: oldjim on November 23, 2024, 09:30:38 PM
Just bought this amp, knowing to is blowing fuses. Hope to get a schematic to work from. I also plan to ask Acoustic since the amp in no longer in production. Couldn't find anything via Google search or any of the free schematic site I know of. Thanks in advance!

Even if no schematic is found, blowing fuses, although a major problem, is relatively "easier" to guess, because not many parts can do that.

Being a modern 30W amp I much suspect it uses some kind of chipamp, which "could" be replaced in full.
Please post some gut schematic, showing the power amp heatsink and whatever chipamp or transistor is attached there.

2 pictures, one showing the general area and a real closeup so labels are readable.

You might also have bad main rectifiers or capacitors, show that area too.
