Title: motorboat sound on shut-off
Post by: johnpotter on February 08, 2015, 01:33:19 PM
Guys-
I just got a new Bandit in the mail, seems to work fine except will make a motorboat (fart) sound for about 3 seconds after I turn it off. Any idea besides a trip to the tech?
Thx

Or just accept it as normal.  Some amps pop or thump, some whine, some make no noise.  But it won't hurt anything but your pride.

But if it is new, it is under warranty, so don't even try to do anything about it yourself..  If you are concerned, take it to the nearest Peavey warranty shop.

Thanks. I'm used to pops during powerups and shutoffs, but not motorboat sounds.
Vintage Peavey Bandit 75, warranty gone long ago!! and to someone else!
