Post by: scottg2219 on June 24, 2011, 06:07:34 PM
I have a cheap Gaa100 ashton amp head 100w transistor amp which works except the bass control does not work & the reverb works but gives a buzzing kinda noize when turned up on full what could be the possible problems. Could it be a faulty pot control on the amp all other funtions work fine. :grr

Yes, if just the bass control does not work, it's highly possible that either the pot is damaged or even that its solder is cracked.
Start by lightly resoldering its pads.
