hello guys, Just found recently that my old bass amp SAMICK BA80 in the stock room. when I tried it, a smoke came out from the box., open it and a power amp IC got burned maybe the dust brought it to short circuit. try to replace it but couldn't read the Label of the IC., Please Help I need a Schematic to repair it. Thank you in advance. ;D
Post a couple sharp well iluminated pictures, measure supply voltages, state what's written on the back of the amp, etc.
If it is very old and uses a semi-custom Sanken or some other OEM chip you may be out of luck.
Samick is a *good* factory and works well, their products are famous under other OEM trademarks.
At worst it's a good base for some project.
And contact Samick and ask them if they can provide the schematic.
