Post by: shawntaylor on October 18, 2009, 11:43:46 AM
Hi, I am thinking of buying a peavey windsor 100w head, its quoted at 100W RMS but I can't find out a what Ohm rating its for :-\

It says it can do 4/8/16 Ohm but it doesn't say which applys to the 100w

Peavey Windsor is a 100W tube amp and it can easily put out 100W in 16 or 8 or 4Ohm cab, on back panel there's a impedance selector, and with it you determine the output impedance of the amp.

It will put 100 watts into any of those loads as long as the impedance selector is set for them.
