Definitely.
Although it would be an unfair competition.
The Pignose was powered by 8  AA batteries; the Electro Harmonix by a bank account busting 38 (yes, thirty eight, not a typo) D batteries. :duh
No wonder why they weren't exactly popular  :lmao:

It was more of a publicity stunt than anything else and in fact most (as in 99.9%) of them were converted and sold as regular AC powered amps, with a crummy transformer, diode bridge and filter capacitor nailed to the bottom of the cabinet.
But they sported a *killer* Celestion Greenback speaker, so sound was actually very good.
This is the later cheaper wall powered version, also using a cheaper American speaker, notice the improvised PSU added to the bottom; somewhere I have a picture of the battery powered one: the walls and floor are *covered* with D batteries, it looks like a National Panasonic battery ad, no kidding.
