Title: Hartke HA5000 biasing
Post by: markorock37 on June 06, 2023, 02:29:18 PM
I have a HA5000 on the bench. After checking the bias at TP1 on both modules, I have one at 36mv and the other at 91mv. Anyone know what the recommended setting is for this amp?

Can you post the correct schematic for your unit?
Otherwise there is no way to tell what TP1 is.

Off the top of my head I would say to go with the lower reading for both channels, unless you see crossover distortion.

I can't see TP1, but I think I have the correct schematic.
