Title: Amp trouble
Post by: Synda on December 09, 2009, 09:15:20 PM
I recently just bought a Randall G3 150 Watt plus amp with the digital effects. I love the sound of the amp for both the clean and distortion however I noticed one problem that irked me.

I only notice this when I'm on the distortion channel, but the when the level for the clean channel is past 4, I start to hear clean guitar sounds bleeding through the distortion channel so you hear both the distortion and the clean guitar.

The amp sounds good, but I don't want to have to keep adjusting the clean channel level or buy any other pedals to keep both channel levels even.

So I was wondering if anybody knows why it is doing this or if it would be a simple fix or should I just send it back?

Hi Synda,
That does not seem like it's working correctly,
If you purchased it NEW then just take it straight back to the place of purchase.
Check another G3 amp and see if it does the same thing,,, if so they may work that way.
If it's faulty then The shop will likely just swap it over for another.
Hope it pans out for you,, Phil.
