Title: orange crush 35B primary
Post by: ilyaa on April 07, 2016, 01:28:58 PM
this is a cheapo PT - maybe same brand as one that was recalled in the tiny terror?

at any rate - it's bad - not putting out anything.

any suggestions for a replacement?

Any transformer with 40VAC CT output and capable of 1Amp or more would work.
The bigger the better as long as it fits.

Yep looking good :tu: the 2A unit will be fine.
Just be aware; IF the Amp had no Mains fuse holder then most likely the original transformer had an internal thermal fuse which has blown.
Now the new transformer may not have that so you may have to insert a mains fuse to keep it safe.
Just thought I should mention it :tu:
