TDA2030 Amp project.

Hello guys. I'm new to the forum, and I hope to get along with you all.

After playing with electronics for some time, building my own small amp (2W) for my guitar and all, I think it's now time to move on to something bigger.
While I won't be build a 100W amp or something like this, as I live in a small apartment and I only play for fun, I thought about building a TDA2030 based amplifier with preamp and tone control.

And I just want to confirm one thing.

The one at top is my schematics, while the one at the bottom is the original. As I don't want the headphones output, is my schematic correct in this adaption?

Also, I'll keep this thread updated while I build the whole amplifier.

Sorta.

When the headphones are plugged in R12 150 ohms completes the circuit to ground.  R10 is disconnected.

WHen no headphones are in use, the sleeve contact switch puts R10 in parallel with R12.  Since R10 is 0.1 ohm, the parallel 150 ohms is irrelevant.

The way it is wired though, the feedback is taken from R12.

You want no headphones anyway.  You don;t need both R10 and R12.  Yes, what you proposed would work, you just don;t need both resistors.

WHat to do?  In the original circuit, make R12 0.1 ohm resistor instead of the 150 ohms.  Then just eliminate R10.   Or in your proposed circuit, just get rid of R12.  What you wind up with is the negative lead of the speaker goes to ground through a 0.1 ohm resistor and the feedback is taken from the negative end of the speaker as well.
