Scaling Schematics

Hello, I've been researching this whole amplifier building business
and I was wondering if there was anyway of scaling schematics?

More specifically, I like the really the Reeves Custom 6 but can't find a schematic.
However, since it is basically a baby Hiwatt from my understanding and I can get
the schematic from a Hiwatt DR-103 this question popped into my head about
scaling it back from a 100watt monster to a reasonable bedroom 15watt or below amp.

Please excuse me if anything I have said is tragically wrong.

Thank you in advance.

Not wrong at all.
You can build a 15W, 2xEL84 amp, and power a Hiwatt preamp.
Remember that for bedroom practice, even 15W are Loud.

Well it would be more like 5 watts with 1 EL84 and 1 12ax7.
So how how would I go about adapting the preamp circuit to one tube, output circuit to one tube and the power to five watts?

Well not knowing the hiwatt schematic I assume the preamp section has 2 or more Tubes ?? if you scale it back to one tube it really won"t be a hiwatt anymore and will probably have a much different sound than a real hiwatt ....

as for the output section the Hiwatt probably uses a Push pull output stage wich requires at least 2 tubes so to use just one tube you need a diffent output topology namely a single ended output stage , maybe something like the fender champ output stage .....

So maybe you can combine the hiwatt preamp with the Champ power amp ??
