Looks like an interesting, and insanley easy, circuit.  I wish I had a Ge tranny to try it with.

**edit**
I added the circuit as an attatchment so people who aren't part of DIY stompboxes can still see it.

Do you want them?  I've got two of them sitting around.  They are yours for $2 if you want them.  I can sell them for $5 if you want it priority.

Rockin'

I sent you an amp/power board since I didn't know if you wanted just the amp board or not.  Plus I don't have any separate amp boards and already do have separate power boards I don't know what to do with  :P

Steve and RDV, they're in the mail.  RDV, sorry but I had to mail it regular mail because I couldn't afford priority on both, I hope that's ok.

I think its a great idea.  I've been thinking about doing a wah in one of those as well.  My brother and I have also considered an open wah using a cheap dumpy bass drum beater pedal.

RDV, you mean just a board no chip right?  Cuz I'm all out of chips.

If anyone else is interested, I still have 4 more amp/power boards and 2 separate power boards without the amp section.  $2 for one board (doesn't matter wether its just power or power and amp), add $0.50 on for each board after that.
#2317
Consider them yours, just paypal me $4 and I'll send them out.

As far as other boards are concerned, I have 4 more sets, but no LM3886 chips or anything.

Fixr1984 and bassman4d521 - your kits are in the mail.
DreamSeller - I'm waiting for your money order to come in still
Steve_m - How many boards/ICs do you want?  I'll do one for $2.50 or both for $4 if you want them.

The address for paypaling me is joseph.raymond@umit.maine.edu

Amplifier Discussion / Re: Ruby amp mods

Excellent ideas!  I can't wait to see how they turn out, I love that little circuit  :)

There aren't any more LM3886 kits, but I do have the 2 more boards and ICs.  So you would just have to get the resistors and capacitors.  If anyone is interested in that I will sell the power board, amp board and a LM3886 chip for $2.50, basically the shipping cost.
#2321
Yup, I have one left.  Paypal me $5 and it's yours.
#2322
That's something I wouldn't mind trying right there...

Preamps and Effects / Simple preamps are ok to me
June 11, 2006, 07:56:11 PM
I'm thinking about doing a simple preamp with a volume and a tone knob.  No EQ stack, just tone.  I think I could do a simple TL071 circuit to do it along with a tone setup from a big muff pi or something.
