i think its wrong to post this topic here,.since this the only site i trusted,.ill grab the oppurtunity to ask here,.

can anyone help me how to make computer speakers? just a simple desktop speakers i want,.

i got couple of LM386 here from roly,can i used this to make a stereo computer speakers? any suggestions and ideas?

actually sir i didnt add an entire row,.i just put some wire to transfer my connection for the speakers output and gain knobs since im out of spot to solder them,.im not using a stripboard,.its a perfboard,.

regarding the ohmeter,iv checked it and its properly grounded,. sorry for the confusion sir,. hehe

i followed the 1st layout you posted..

i have checked it correctly, i even replaced it with another caps thinking i might burned it while soldering.. but still i have that silly motorboat sound..hehe

so you mean sir that only 1 cap ill add? the + side of the cap shall be positioned to to red wire of the supply and the - to ground? not to the pin? im confused :( i made a quick illustration on it , tell me which is correct sir.. i put some lines in the layout..

im following the 1st image, pins 3 nd 4 are connected,. is it ok if i put the caps there? do i need to disconnect them to put the caps in pin 4? or as is? ill just connect from ground connecting to the link that goes to the LED? and last thing,is the positive charge og my caps should be connected to pin 6? or in pin 4 area? :/

i just figured it out how to connect them all,. i still have a problem,.when i connect all the jacks to test it i got a pumpboat sound when i strum the guitar,it will turn off i back off a little bit either of the 3 pots,.is there something wrong with my wiring or to caps and resistor?

so does it mean if i dont use the grit switch ill just wire out pin 7 to groun or ill wire it with the 220uf caps? which is which? heheheh

@roly sir,can i just connect the two wire for the grit switch? i dont want to add switch on grit,. im a bit confused on the radioshack board and in the last image,.

need help wiring on this layout were this excess wire goes and position on pots and switch,. to jacks,. and i like not to sue a grit switch,what will ill omit on this lay out,.is sumthing wrong with this,. pls i need help guys :/

what do you mean on that? the rating is 100v..if my circuit is can be powered max at 12v,is it ok?

thanks,.i just finished repairing it,i found one grounding the volume pots to the body and its gone,. :)

so 2a104j and 2a473j are same with 100nf and 47nf film caps? right?
