I was going through the garage the other day and found my mums old sewing machine, I didint wirk so I took the pedal apart. It works in the same way as a wah shell, Granted it didint have a potentionmeter but it has a (Dont flame me over this I have no idea what they are called) little plastic bit that moves up and down inside the pedal when you rock your foot, Just like the bit that turns the pot in a wah.

Guess I'll be buying some wah pots soon and giving it a shot, If I can I will get some pics up.

I think its a great idea.  I've been thinking about doing a wah in one of those as well.  My brother and I have also considered an open wah using a cheap dumpy bass drum beater pedal.

Thats actually not a bad idea, Original too.

Let me know if you go ahead with it.

Will do.  I just have to get my brother to replace his old beater with a nice one first.  The electronics of wahs are relatively simple, the hardest part is normally getting the physical foot action working.
