Title: Randall rg100sc sound cut
Post by: aquateen69 on November 16, 2015, 12:54:49 PM
I was playing my randall rg100sc rather loud, and suddenly the sound cut to a very low volume. Tried turning it off for a while, no resolution, lol. Any insight as to what the problem may be?

Start by plugging in a regular 1/4 inch guitar cable between the send and returns effects jacks. What happens many times is that the inner contacts becoming dirty and will impede upon passing your signal from preamp to the power amp. Start there and let us know.

Well just to note... the trouble shooting only solved what was the problem. To solve the problem you will need to clean the jacks, but I bet you know that part. Just gotta make sure to put it out there though.  :dbtu:
