Hi and thanks for having me. I picked up a Marshall G30RCD from a guy that powers on but no sound. I broke her down and the input jack is busted off the PCB.
Yesterday I picked up a soldering gun and multimeter which I've never used before. I'm gonna start reading some tutorials here, order some parts, and get cracking.

You will have to remove the old solder from the PCB before you install the new jack.
You will need a solder sucker,
Or 'solder braid'.
Excellent, I'll pick one of those up.
I'm having trouble finding the exact input jack I need. Brand says jalco on it, once I figure out photos on this board I will post what it looks like.
