Title: modding a princeton 112 plus
Post by: darren on August 11, 2012, 03:48:02 PM
this is actually a continuation of an earlier post, modding an old heathkit amp. but i thought id start fresh here. are there any mods you guys like for a princeton 112 plus? i find the distortion to sound thin, sort of wispy. id like to fatten it up a bit, more "chunky". any of you ever do ythis? if so, how did it work out, were you happy with the end result?

Build a 24"x16"x12" closed cabinet and mount the speaker there, driving it from your amp.
You'll be surprised.
