How about a complete project?  Schematics, layouts, suggested mods and parts list,  all the info for a novice to build there own SS guitar amp with relative ease.  I built a tube amp from AX84.com and it was very easy to get good results with some basic skills and a little help.

Here's a link to the P1-Extreme over at AX84

We are actually working on making a kit like that.  The power amp section will be either a LM1875 or LM3886 kit from chipamp.com, we just need to finish designing the preamp, write some good directions and then go about gathering parts so that we can sell them as a kit.  I was originally hoping to be doing it by this fall, but plans have changed, and now it is set on indefinete hiatus.
Life is what you make it.

Thats to bad  :'(  I think its an easy way to get the attention of people that think it might be to hard to do on their own.  If I was compentent with this stuff I would help.  Maybe someday.
