Post by: Madamp on October 07, 2021, 08:11:14 PM

      Hello everyone

Needing ideals for upgrade or total redo or even swap out.

Having trouble trying to load pic of the amp. But you can google
It. To get ideal of. Size.  And shape. Small area.
            It is a
         L & M
Sound Reader.               Will keep trying to get pics loaded

A picture doesn't tell us much.   I am not even sure what the thing is.   WHat do you want to do with it?

    Thanks for doing link!

I been using it as practice amp.  Just on low though  lol ! ,

     speaker change
     Maybe something for tone
Make it more like a guitar amp
Mine has just  4. Inputs and controls on bottom other 2 are plugged off
First attempt so I thought I would try something simple even a swap out
Of other small amp that was decent just on first go
                                 Thanks

No need to move this post, we're pretty loose on what goes in which section - chill place around here.

For us to help you in any meaningful way, we're going to need some pictures of the inside of this little guy.  I've never seen anything quite like it, so not sure where to even start.  My guess is you would need to build a basic preamp to sit in front of this amp, then you would start to get more of a "guitar amp" sound from it.

From the Web: "Made in the sixties for film editing, this little squawk box amp is all kinds of fuzzy fun. You can play straight into the amp through its rattly tiny speaker, or use the headphone jack to run it into another amp ..."
