The largest stones in the path of a would-be amp maker, specially at hobby level, are the "mechanicals", rather than the "electronics" which can be bought from regular suppliers, such as Mouser and many others.
Big problems are: chassis/front panel/cabinet/transformer/speaker.
Usually in a "broken amp" you find those for peanuts or free, so just ditching the boards and building somethin new is not such a bas idea.
Well, in this case you don't have the transformer (at least none you can use) because of the SMPS.
Anyway what you already have looks interesting to build *at least* a powered box (simple chipamp+new PSU+ the cabinet you have).
And what use can have such a simplified amplifier, without even controls?
1) power to stage levels your POD, VAmp , Pedalboard or whatever (even Guitar Rig on your PC)
2) Boost your excellent but underpowered 15W practice amp
3) Add 1x12" plus extra 50/60W to the Guitar Combo you already use. Not bad !!
