Here is a pic of the switch.
I think you are going to be hard pressed finding a 5 button switch.
Do you need all of the functions?

That is a 6 pin male DIN plug.
The drawing of Pin #7 uses a flat line to indicate 'attached to shell'.
It's the braided shielding wire to ground.

The Selector switch is SPDT.
The rest are SPST.
All must latch.

i just bought a peavey remote foot switch it has 4 foot switches. it is different from the one for my amp. i also bought a 6 pin din socket to try to rewire it because the one on it has seven pins and no center pin.

Jazz P Bass my amp does not have tremolo. it has fuzz. if i wire the foot switch the same as the layout you posted will fuzz replace the tremolo.

thanks peter.

Not too sure what amp you have.
The Musician 400 schematic that I have shows it having Tremolo.
The schematic does not show a footswitch activation for Distortion, just Fuzz. (Pin #1)
The manual states that pulling Pin #1 low (activate Fuzz) turns on Distortion/ Fuzz.
You might want to call Peavey and ask for the correct schematic.

Here is a pic of the Musician 400.
Does yours look like this?
Rate & Depth are the Tremolo controls.

This one?  I've seen it referred to as musician 400 series 210 (it is rated 210watts)

Conflicting info on this one.
On the left is a rate & depth control for Tremolo.
Assuming the 400-210 is the same as the schematic posted, then Pin #1 of the ft sw socket will turn on & off both the Distortion & Fuzz circuits.
No either or. Simply both.

Jazz, I think the schematic you posted is correct.  It has blend pot and master pot.
And the footswitch you posted has button labelled 'effects' which would be both fuzz and distortion.

Plen, the 4 button fs you bought, what model amp is it for?

i just seen this for sale add for the same amp. it has a foot switch. it is the foot switch Jazz P Bass posted. it is different from the schematics posted. on the schematics it is selector combiner distortion reverb tremolo. on the foot switch it is selector combiner reverb tremolo effects.

If you look real close there should be numbers on the rear of the plug.
