I'm very very new here. I have the question about the foot switch for guitar amp.

My amp have DPDT switch to select clean/dirty on the panel. If I would like to have the foot switch to change between clean/dirty mode. What's the best way to wiring.? BTW once the foot switch on operation the switch on the panel should be no function.

It would be very helpful to know what amp you have, so we know what circuitry is involved.
