Hey everyone. Very cool to be here. Hope to get you know you guys soon.
My question is this:
I have a small pedal board. The last thing in the chain is a Digitech Digidelay. It works and sounds fine for what I use it for, but whenever I have my overdrive or compressor on there is a steady beeping sound that comes through to my amplifier. I assume that it's the delay, because it's the only thing between the two signal boostin pedals and the amp. And I've tried it with multiple amps and the same thing happens. Can anyone explain this to me? Thanks. Here's my signal path.
Brace Audio Wireless
DOD A/B box
Morpheus Droptune
Boss TU2
MXR Dynacomp
Dunlop Crybaby (standard)
Digitech Bad Monkey overdrive
Digitech Digidelay
I think you want the delay at the very beginning of your pedal board, not on the end. Try it and see if that clears up your issue, it should.
Also, welcome aboard!
Thanks for the reply. But after trial and error, I know that for the sound I'm looking for, I want it after the other effects.
Your amp have a send/return?
You could plug the DD in there and see if the problem is solved. Maybe the AD/DA converter of the DD boost its noise to the amp.
