It really seems to be a cool project. Just a few questions...

What FETs are used? Would a MPF102 works fine?
Is this only a guitar amp? Could I use it as a amp for my computer without major changes or would be better using another Preamp?
And.. if it is used for guitar, why 2 channels in the preamp?
