I'm attempting to make a high-order low-pass filter that i run after all my effects in my signal chain.  I'm trying to figure out how to cascade several single pole filters. I know you can't just slap one after the other, but what if i stick a simple op amp buffer between each stage?  would that cascade correctly and give the desired effect?

Yeah thats basically what you do, or you could use something like a sallen-key active filter.
This TI doc has plenty of info on active filters: http://focus.ti.com/lit/ml/sloa088/sloa088.pdf
Google active filters and you should find plenty of info.

Hi ,
Just google *Ed Rembold Marshall Sim* as simple as it gets and it works.
I've made several of these and sold everyone. 8)

Or just find a schem of any JTM 30 or 60 Marshall Amp
The circuit is simple to see,, just delete the balanced out part.
