Hi all. . . I have been away from this forum for a while. I considered making an amp about year or two ago but gave up. I am deinately thinking about it again. Here is what i am thinking. I want a very portable power amp (I am in college) which I could use to power my Zoom g7.1ut or my laptop or any other form of music. The main purpose of this amp though would be to power my zoom (guitar mfx pedal). I figure it can be used as a pre-amp because it has preamp sims in it. So far what i am thining is making a 15watt stereo amplifier powering 2 8 inch speakers. Here is my list so far:
amp:

and have it power 2 of these speakers

Correct me if I am wrong but I think this transformer will work.

Somthing like this to put the amp in (its rather expensive in my opinion i am sure there are better options)

I have no idea what type of power supply I would need to get so if any one can find a decent one please tell me.

I know there are a lot of misc parts to get like input jacks and volume pots and so on, but am I missing any major parts? Also would this set up work? please steer me in the right direction. Thanks

sure it will work your getting your tone from your Zoom , all you need is a small power amp, for a power supply you can go to your local thift store/junk shop and find a external drive unit(old  computer hard drive(the older ones have a higher current rating)).
