Hi Jim, nice design.
Can't talk about sound, though, as you provide no audio ;)
Being the SSGuitar Forum, can't you comment something about the technical aspects behind it?
A link to the Patent you mention (patents are in the Public record) would also be very interesting and useful.
Congratulations on helping the SS cause.

It'll be interesting to see how this amp does.  It's exactly what I had talked about in this thread: http://www.ssguitar.com/index.php?topic=2166.0

A 5w basic solid state amp perfect for bedroom practice but still high quality enough for recording.  Basic, very simple controls...this looks great.

Is it built here in the US?  That'd make it just about perfect!
Life is what you make it.

If the frequency response really does go that low, this may be a good amp for harmonica players too. We like low wattage amps as well, as they tend to sound better for harp...

EDIT: Agree that sound samples and/or video is necessary. It *looks* good, but the proof is in the pudding (and by pudding, I mean audio)!

+1 on the sound samples. A step in the right direction. And it's priced right in the range of all those low-wattage digital modeling amps. It'll be nice for people to have a decent alternative like this. Can't wait to hear it!
