Hi, I hope someone might be able to help...

I just got a second hand cube 30, the volume pot for the lead section seems to be faulty - the volume only comes in at the very loudest setting, it's silent up to that and then very loud. I dismantled it and saw that that pot is visibly damaged, so it seems that I'll need a new pot. Whilst my electronics knowledge is very little, I feel confident enough with a soldering iron to replace this, but I don't know what to replace it with. The pot that's in there is an alps pot and is marked thus:

Alps
10  23

60  4C

I wonder if anyone can advise me as to what pot I can buy to replace this.

Thanks,

Lecky

I found the schematic and service notes for the non-blues Cube 15-30. This thing is a computer moonlighting as an amp! I'm not sure if this is the one you have, but it's got at least 3 rather large ICs in it where the blues version is more or less analog.
Looks like the audio pots are 10K B taper (linear).
I tried attaching but they were too large. I had to host them at a free site, and there's a download limit. If it maxes out before you get these just send me a pm and I'll email them or re-host it.

Hope that helps. :)
