Title: Using my amp as a sound system...
Post by: d4v1d5hu13r on June 27, 2007, 05:28:38 PM
I have a Roland Jazz Chorus 120. It's a 100 watt SS guitar amp. Really nice[but ugly xP]. I recently had an idea and it worked. I hooked up my pc directly to it. Due to my sound drivers I can get awesome bass out of it[so much my house shakes]. I was wondering if this was safe at some decently loud volumes.

I know it's not meant for really low frequencies, but I was wondering if I could do it anyways, and not have to worry about it blowing up.

As long as you don't drive the amp into clipping and keep it running decently cool it's ok.
