Hey guys ive posted this a few times but cant get nowhere anybody have a clue why old ss guitar amps volume can drop dramatically? All i need are instruction and i can preform task anys ideas guys???????
WHy does any amp drop volume? Dirty FX return jack, dirty power amp in jack, bad solder connection somewhere, and so on. I am not aware of this as a solid state problem, it happens to any kind of amp.
You need to isolate the problem. Preamp or power amp? Or more likely the link between them, the aforementioned FX loop jacks.
