RDV, you mean just a board no chip right? Cuz I'm all out of chips.

If anyone else is interested, I still have 4 more amp/power boards and 2 separate power boards without the amp section. $2 for one board (doesn't matter wether its just power or power and amp), add $0.50 on for each board after that.
Just one board. No chip.

I'm sending you $2.00 for one of the boards and I'll be good for 2 stereo LM1875 kits when they come in.

Instead of just using the 18watt tone controll with the BMP output stage, i'd actually try to clone the 18watt preamp but just using two Jfets in parallel instead of the two tube triodes in parallel.
Be sure and post a schem when you get it working!

You might want to check the Eighteen at Runoffgroove.

That's something I wouldn't mind trying right there...

Just an idea.

You could just do the volume recovery stage and tone from the BMP. I'd suggest a JFET buffer(4 hi imp in) then the Tone/recovery stage.

The distortion is good old Mesa Recto amp variety.

The clean is a chorus, or it sure sounds like one.

Other than that terribly out of tune slide thingy Kirk attempted it's a pretty good performance though, I've heard them do worse.

We'll see, there may be more takers, though a 5.1 system with them might be cute. We're gonna be busy soon with these fellas who haven't built one yet. You remember how many questions you asked, right? They're gonna be asking the same stuff. I'll try to help of course!!

You're getting 6 stereo LM1875 kits?

I'll gladly pay for the extra stuff it'll take for one LM1875 kit. Whomever takes the other kit(s) should share their part as well. It's still quite a bargain. I've got everything I'll need including an enclosure(another dead CD player).

Let me know what you spend and I'll include it in the paypal.

Just let me know when to shoot you the funds. Are you still waiting on some parts?
