Are they reliable?

I've doing some research in the hope of finding a "good" modeling head.
The Vox AD60VTH Valvetronix Head seems to have mixed reviews. I've heard some clips on Youtube that sounds good. What is the deal with the TUBE in a Solid State amp?

I'm not sold on Vox yet.
Can someone recommend a inexpensive Solid State Head? I'm looking for something light.
I already own the Crate Powerblock.

Can anyone tell me something about this amp? I bought back in...around 1972 and used it for a few years and then parked it in the garage. I recently pulled it out...boy, is it heavy!
Still works but, the speakers need to be replaced.

Hi everyone. This is my first post here.

I have a Jordan Stagemate J130 (solid state) that I want to disconnect the speakers and install a output jack but, the speakers do not have a + or - markings, all they have are a RED dot on one side...is this the Positive?

Any help with this beast would be greatly appreciated.
