Title: 1983 Fender Showman 112 Solid State Rivera era converted to a head amp.

Just fully re-capped my 1983 Fender Showman 112, this was a combo that I made into a head. Has a great tone and lots of tone sculpting options as well as a switchable effects loop and spring reverb! I love this amp. Bought it new in 1983. The power amp fried in 1988 but I was able to repair it at the time thanks to coaching over the phone from John Hoyt at Fender CBS. This year I decided to make a new board for the power amp section as some of the traces were compromised when it burnt up.

Looks fantastic, nice tolex work. Is it red jungle bark tolex ?

Thank you! It's just plain red tolex. It's a little on the pinkish side, but Im hoping it darkens with age.
