I would love to hear this amp in action. Do you have facilities to record some .mp3s or .wavs of it? Have you tried it with a compression pedal yet? That might do some interesting things with its clean tone. Interesting thread.

Thanks mex.

Unfortunately all our recording gear is at our rehearsal place some 16km away.
I have the amp here at home and fully assembled it is pretty heavy (50lbs maybe?)
and as I am at home recovering from a hernia operation I ain't liftin' anything heavy for awhile.  ;)
Not tried a comp yet, I think my fav comp is at the other place too, but I might have a Boss CS3 around here somewhere...
If it ain't broke I'll fix it until it is.

Here is a screen shot from the brochure about this amp.

It was the only way I could figure out to post this.
Obviously not the whole brochure but the rest is for PA equipment and such.

Not much for info, and this version has the horn on the upper left, my model it's on the lower right.
Note too the emblem difference, though mine has "Delta" in small lettering under the normal channel controls.
If it ain't broke I'll fix it until it is.

Sorry... reviving this thread after my success with the Univox amp.  ;)

I went back into this thing and wholesale changed out all the electros
with the exception of  the 2 large Mallory cans and one 500uf inside the chassis.
It never seemed to have power supply issues so I figured they would be ok.

There is a crap load of 5uf and a smattering of 100uf and a couple 250uf caps on the 2 circuit boards.
I changed them all.  :loco

For the 5uf I used 4.7uf... close enough.
Without exception the old 5uf caps ALL measured in the range of 8 to 10uf.
Several "measured" as diodes on my component tester.  :o  :o  :o

This amp sounded "ok" before... but now is possibly the sweetest sounding solid state amp I've ever played!   8) <3)
At least at a volume below breakup. Still quite loud.

At full boogie it has a nice germanium transistor breakup. VERY loud!

+18V  -18V rails and 2X12" speakers.

Very sweet reverb and optical true vibrato circuit.
"Almost" rivals my Deluxe reverb!
If it ain't broke I'll fix it until it is.
