Thank you for taking time to reply. I understand this won't be a true reverb but I am hoping this will help to keep the audio from sounding so "dry". I am only looking for a "touch" of reverb-like effect.

Thank you for replying,

Could someone share as to how I would add this PT2399 reverb board...

PT2399

...into this amp?

Thank you for taking time to reply.

Would you have any recommendations as to an amateurs way to "sort of" check the circuit if I get everything put together but the amp doesn't work. I  haven't started yet except for gathering parts but I just want to be prepared in case I run into trouble.

Thank you,

I am new at this but I want to build a 9V guitar amp. Would the following device work for tracing my progress as I build the amp so I don't have to plug in a guitar every time I want to input a signal to check progress and if this device will work can someone show me how I would wire it up and use?

with a quick look this is my guess.
you should look at two current paths
R6, R5 and D2 is one path and R6, R7 and D1 the other.
the diodes are biased by a very weak current  (9-1,6)/(10k+47k)=157µA
if voltage at D2/R5 rises, then Vforward D2 falls and current decreases. and current through D1 increases, therefore voltage across R7 increases.
were talk small variations to avoid cutoff.

i'm shure someone has a some things add or clarify

Thank you. That helps.

Could someone share the purpose of the Red Leds D1 and D2 in the attached schematic? Is this some type of diode clipping circuit?

Could someone point me to a link for the schematic for a Danelectro Honeytone mini-amp?

Thanks,
