I am trying to decide what replacement speaker to buy for my crate cr-112 amp. I play blues and classic rock. I also have been trying to find out how many watts the amp is. It dosnt say on it. I have seen 50 and 75 watts on the internet. I was thinking greenback or emminence legend 128. Thanks for the help.

The original CR1 was 20 W RMS.
Later they improved them and got up to 60W.
For all practical ends, they are exact as same era Peaveys.
So much so, that I´m sure they either were OEM built by Peavey themselves for Saint Louis Music (which were distributors, no manufacturing experience at all) or the schematic was licensed.
Later they developed their own designs.
To be certain, open it, look at the power supply.
Do you find one or two equal big filter capacitors?
Post the value printed on them and the voltage measured across thei terminals.
A gut picture would also be good.
The speakers you like are very good, but the original one was not bad at all, I'm quite sure it's an OEM Eminence , post a picture from the back showing its frame and magnet, each factory has its own.
Also, it might have some label or numbers painted or glued to the frame, besides the "Crate" logo.
