I have an old g-100 A that I got working last night, and was looking at the schematics this morning and it shows an output transformer. Well I do not have one and it has the spades like they were connected directly to the speaker. can anyone help me out on this one. Is it recommended? and if so what trasnfomer do I use?

Thanks,
Anthony

Tubes and Hybrids / power supply for a hybrid
April 21, 2009, 12:33:51 AM
I am creating an amp using the TDA7293 and have completed the main stage. I need to know since tubes require high voltage and I am running 36 vdc to the main will I have to use 2 transformers? What is the best Tube preamp schematic to use with this chip? and should I do solid stare instead of tubes on the preamp?

Thanks,
Anthony

Hello all,
Just want to know the difference in a guitar /bass/pa amp.
is it the preamp that makes them different or the main amp?
