How about an aggressive marketing campaign that exposes some tube myths?

I could see the add copy; "Experts in a double blind test couldn't tell the difference between the Retrostein 20 and a 1966 Vibro Champ."

How about this for a segment on Penn and Tellers BS? Build a quality amp with a chassis design that prominently displays its tubes. The secret is that only the heaters are hooked up and the tubes aren't part of the actual amp circuit at all.  It's all SS. Have folks test it and let them eloquently rave on about the tube warmth.

Thanks.  I didn't even know jensen made a mod 5.  I think it might have to much depth to fit in this pee wee box.  I only have 2.5 inches to work with.

I wonder what roland uses in the micro cube rx.  They're only 4 inches.

I have the little amp (and I do mean little) that came with the epiphone pee wee les paul.  It's a KIA3216S chip amp. I think it's about 1/2 watt.  Through the headphone output it sounds OK - nothing to write home about but it'll do.

The speaker is a horrible little 3" no name piece.  I could fit a 4" speaker in the enclosure but I don't know if there are any decent 4" guitar amp speakers out there?  A 5" speaker might fit but I don't know if they exist.  6" will never fit.

Anyone know of a decent 4" speaker?
