Amp kits...

This kit might be useful for a practice amp.

And finally, a guitar preamp kit. I wish there were more details about this one. I'm curious, but doubt that it would sound that great. Seems a bit pricey, too:

The first one you listed I have built, its ok at best for guitar.  A 1/2w little gem is about as loud, and much better quality.

Good to know. I sort of forgot about all the good designs for small practice amps out there... little gem, ruby, etc.
