Hello,                                                                                                                                                                  I need more help on understanding electronic component lingo.What does IRFP140. IR 77.407L with a 09 underneath it stand for.Thanks for all the INPUT.                                                                                                                                                                  ADV

IRFP140 is the part number, all the rest is date codes and production line information.

Scroll down near the bottom of this data sheet where it says "Part marking information".
