Trying to fix Yorkville 200B Amp

Hello everyone, I am new here and I am trying to fix a problem with my bass amp.

The amp is a Yorkville 200B. The problem is, when I plug everything in and turn it on the amp works fine, but after a short period of time (say 1 minute of playing) it starts to crackle/buzz that overpowers the actual notes. If don't let up and keep playing the sound crackling will build and build (think a crescendo) and then it cuts out almost entirely. I've concluded that it's not the bass or the chord as both work fine with other amps/guitars, so it has to be the amp.

Anyway, I think it's the actual input on the amp. I say this because if I apply pressure upwards on the chord where it enters the input (for example using my knee) it works fine.

Any ideas on how to fix the problem?

Well, both pages missing ...
Anyway, you probably have either: cracked solder or cracked tracks where the jack meets the board or very close by, or the jack itself is bad/worn/bent.
Put on your best glasses, use good light and take a good look therte.
Repost your close-up pictures.

Ok, look under that board, where the jack is soldered.
Resolder all pads, using a good, clean, hot, soldering iron and *a little* of good quality solder.
