The set a is for Gibson gss 100. Set b is for Epiphone ea600rvt the sister amp. You can tell by the speaker outputs the gss has 2 and Epiphone has 3 for the 4x10 can and the 50 watt slave amp you could add on to the amp.

Kool little guitar amp. I love searching for pedals and equipment and finding something that gives you the sound your looking for. Scrapping old electronics for pedal building has become my newest hobby. Well it has a long haul finding parts exact for the pedal but it has gave me a better understanding of what happens inside the circuits of our favorite sound effects.

I know this old equipment is tidious and frustrating i cant fir my ss amp proplem out

Hey guys ive posted this a few times but cant get nowhere anybody have a clue why old ss guitar amps volume can drop dramatically? All i need are instruction and i can preform task anys ideas guys?

Thanks for getn back to me im with you.as for the generator i have a function generator that allows signal to go out the headphone output jack. Ive also built a signal tracer test probe from online video schematic. So it gos func.generator or the file you provided out of a sound source mp3 amp small bluetooth player.  Where do i go from there?? Signal tracing?? I have multimeter as well.

I built the signal tracer i downloaded a function generator. And a oscilloscope. Can i attach the tracer to the phone w the app and use it that way? Phone as oscilloscope with s.tracer attached to phone maybe earphone jack or usb ??

Ok bought a multimeter. How do i check the power voltages across the circuit? Im great at directions and know about the risk and safety. Whats up.

Well i bought a new multimeter. Lost the old one. Built a signal tracer. Started tracing but unsure about where to and how. Bought one 2n3055 output transistor. Match the speakers they are 16ohm 10 inch Chicago telephone speakers two per box. total of two boxes with two tens in each box. The fuses were all different so i bought the 5 amp 250volt slow blow fuses the amp schematic called for ans now im waiting for some advice and finepoints. I can send schematics videos of the amps sound and insides inner workings whater i am told to do but really want this amp back in shape you know even if its a slow process. Any advice???

Can anyone throw me some Pointers on where to begin to het my amp back in good condition?

This amp is so kool 1966 Epiphone EA600RVT solid state first amps to receive all transistors its dark blue tolex material with silver faceplate and black and red old time pot knobs. Orange pilot light man its really kool looking anybody else even know what this amp is or how rare it is???

Can anyone help me troubleshoot why my 1966 EPIPHONE EA600RVT MAXIMA. SOLID STATE GUITAR AMP MY VOLUME IS LOW AND WEAK ON NUMBER TEN ANY THOUGHT I HAVE SHCEMATIC AND KNOW ABOUT ELECTRONICS BUT I CANT PINPOINT THIS LOW VOLUME OUTPUT ISSUE. TO FIX IT
